Overview

Study the organization of the human body and the structures and functions of the body systems that provide support and movement, coordination, protection, diffusion, excretion, regulation and reproduction.  Learn how body systyems work together to maintina homeostasis.  Terminology used by healther professionals will be introduced.  You'll build the foundational knowledge used in healthcare, fitness, and biomedical careers.

This course is a dual-credit course.  You will receive high school CTS credits, along with 3 credits for Anatomy and Physiology I and 3 credits for Anatomy II at Norquest College.  You'll also develop practical knowledge about maintaining a healthy lifestyle for yourself and your community.
